Stage 1 Lentil Burgers
Ingredients:
1/3 - 1/2 package Lentils cooked (according to directions on package)
1 small chopped onion (approx. 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup shredded carrots
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp. Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil
2 Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning
1 Tbsp Tamari or salt to taste
1/4 Cup of water
3 Tbsp Aquafaba (or 1 small egg)
2 Heaping Tbsp ground rolled oats (or bread crumbs)
Directions:
Add Olive 2 Tbsp Olive Oil to a medium sized skillet.
Add Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil
Add Onion, carrots, 2 Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning to
pan with 1/4 cup of water. Let simmer until Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning is tender, 3-5 minutes.
Put lentils in a mixing bowl, add Aquafaba, ground rolled oats and onion and carrot mixture. Form into patties.
In a skillet with the remaining 2 Tbsp Olive Oil, brown patties on both sides.
Serve On your Choice of bread or roll with your favorite condiment.

Blackened Lentil Burger: Another take on the Lentil Burger
In a large skillet add 3 Tbsp Olive Oil, dust your burgers with Bittersweet Herb Farm Southwest Picante Seasoning and fry on both sides until crispy. Enjoy on your favorite bread with your choice of condiments.
Stage 2 Lentil Tacos
Ingredients:
2 Cups cooked Lentils
6-8 Taco shells heated to package directions
1 Can of diced tomatoes
1 Heaping teaspoon Bittersweet Herb Farm Mexican Seasoning
1 small onion chopped
1 tsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning
1 tsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Cajun Seasoning
Toppings:
Cabbage sliced very very thin (or Lettuce)
Avocado diced small
Shredded Cheese (optional)
Directions:
Salsa:
In a small saucepan add 1 Can of diced tomatoes with 1 Heaping teaspoon Bittersweet Herb Farm Mexican Seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Filling:
In medium sized fry pan add 1 tsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil, with 2 Tbsp Olive Oil and Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning with onion. Saute until onions are tender. Add cooked Lentils heat through.
Time to build your Tacos!
Spoon Lentils into taco shells, top with Salsa, sliced cabbage and avocado.

Stage 3 Lentil Soup
Ingredients:
3 Cups Cooked Lentils
2 Cups water
1 Vegetable bullion
1 Heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning
2 Heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Spices Of India Seasoning
1 tsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 Cup onion diced
1/4 Cup diced celery
1/4 Cup shredded carrots
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 can coconut milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook Lentils according to package directions.
Make a broth using water and vegetable bullion. Add 1 Heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Garden Harvest Seasoning.
In a medium stock pot over medium high heat add Olive Oil, Bittersweet Herb Farm Garlic with Rosemary Oil and Bittersweet Herb Farm Spices Of India Seasoning. Blend together. Add onion, celery, and carrots and saute until tender. Add 1/4 cup of brother if liquid is needed.
Once the onion,celery and carrots are tender, add lentils, broth, tomatoes and coconut milk. Let simmer for 1/2 hour and ENJOY!
